The fractals are not just pictures, but they are generated as you use the app.Currently available fractals include:- Cantor Dust- Sierpinski Triangle- Pythagoras Tree- Koch Snowflake- Julia Set- Mandelbrot Set- Dragon Curve- Hilbert CurveFractals are created by reiteration of a series of mostly simple steps, creating increasingly complex pictures, the more iterations are done.Even though a part of mathematics, and in all senses very logical, fractals can also be seen as art and as such are found in countless ways in nature.The shapes of trees, shells and even distant galaxies show the characteristics of self-similarity so prevalent in fractals.Self-similarity means, a part of the whole resembles the whole.
Sometimes this is total resemblance, sometimes it is only partial, but non the less fascinating.Please note: The more iterations and the more complex the fractal, the longer it takes to generate.
